Combined, the four members have over 362M followers — more than the entire population of the United States. Lisa's 107M alone exceeds South Korea's total population of ~51.7M by more than 2×.

Lisa Departs YG Entertainment, Launches Lloud Label
Lisa (Lalisa Manoban) officially departed from YG Entertainment in late 2023 following the expiration of her individual contract after BLACKPINK's group contract renewal. In January 2024, she announced the founding of Lloud, her own independent label backed by a global distribution deal with RCA Records. The move made her one of the first K-pop idols of her generation to own and control her own entertainment company.

Teddy Park: The Man Who Built BLACKPINK's Sound
Producer and songwriter Teddy Park (박홍준) has co-written and produced every major BLACKPINK title track since debut. Born in Los Angeles and shaped by US hip-hop, Teddy translates Western trap and pop production into K-pop's idol format — fusing hard 808 drops with melodic hooks that cross language barriers. He's the invisible architect behind 'DDU-DU DDU-DU', 'Kill This Love', 'How You Like That', and 'Pink Venom'.

BLACKPINK Breaks Coachella Attendance Record in Historic Return
BLACKPINK became the first K-pop act to headline Coachella, performing across two weekends in April 2023 to record-breaking crowds.
