Lisa (ลลิษา มโนบาล), born Pranpriya Manoban on March 27, 1997 in Buriram, Thailand — later legally renamed Lalisa — is a rapper, singer, dancer, and entrepreneur who rose to global superstardom as the main dancer and main rapper of BLACKPINK and has since become one of the most powerful solo forces in pop music. Growing up in Bangkok, Lisa began dancing at age four and quickly showed extraordinary physical talent. In 2010, at thirteen years old, she auditioned for YG Entertainment during the company's rare open audition held in Bangkok — competing against more than four thousand applicants. She was one of just a handful selected. Days later, she boarded a plane to Seoul alone, speaking almost no Korean, to begin a five-year trainee period. Lisa debuted with BLACKPINK on August 8, 2016. As BLACKPINK's maknae (youngest), main dancer, and main rapper, she quickly distinguished herself as a performer of rare caliber. Her 2019 solo stage at MAMA produced a fancam that surpassed 400 million views and is widely cited as the moment Lisa became a global phenomenon in her own right. Her solo debut came on September 10, 2021 with the single album LALISA under YG Entertainment. "MONEY," the B-side, went viral on TikTok and entered the Billboard Hot 100. In January 2024, Lisa founded her own label, Lloud, in partnership with RCA Records (Sony Music). Her debut album "Alter Ego" was released February 28, 2025 — a 15-track project spanning five alter egos (Roxi, Kiki, Vixi, Sunni, Speedi) with features from Doja Cat, RAYE, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, and Tyla. The album debuted at #1 in 54 countries. Beyond music, Lisa is a global fashion icon — a house ambassador for Celine and brand partner for Bvlgari, MAC Cosmetics, and Samsung. She holds multiple Guinness World Records for social media achievement.
