“dokkaebi-bul neoreul nollyeo” 도깨비불 너를 놀려
도깨비불 (dokkaebi-bul) literally means "will-o'-the-wisp" — the ghostly light in Korean folklore that lures travellers off the path into dangerous ground; a 도깨비 is a mischievous goblin-spirit, so the word carries a playful-but-sinister edge. aespa cast themselves as exactly that here, the irresistible thing you shouldn't chase. "Illusion" is a single from their 2022 EP Girls (released June 1, 2022), and per producer interviews the track frames "the desire to seduce and devour one's opponent" through that goblin-fire image (Wikipedia).

It's a sharp inversion of the usual fan-and-idol dynamic: the spectacle consumes the audience's attention instead of the other way round. The whole song is built on this will-o'-the-wisp metaphor of seduction, comparing the urge to lure and "devour" the listener to goblin fire (Wikipedia).
