Stray Kids' Bang Chan Donates 300 Million Won on Birthday

the leader marked his birthday by giving to three different causes — soft-launching tears, genuinely.

taking a soft moment because Bang Chan being Bang Chan is just lovely.

JYP Entertainment revealed that for his birthday on October 3, the Stray Kids leader donated a total of 300 million won (roughly $223,000) split across three different causes. no big announcement, no fanfare — just quietly turning his own celebration into help for other people.

it tracks completely with who Chris has always been to STAY: the steady, generous center of the group. using your birthday to give instead of receive is the kind of thing that reminds you why this fandom is so devoted.

happy birthday, Channie. the giving-tree behavior is noted and adored. 🤍

Stray Kids' 'THIS & THAT' Holds Billboard 200 Top 3 in Second Week

after debuting at no. 1, the album parked at no. 3 the next week — a first for skz on the big american chart

so about stray kids casually rewriting their own record books again. 'THIS & THAT' debuted at NO. 1 on the billboard 200 and then — instead of politely tumbling — sat pretty at no. 3 the following week.

the milestone, factually: it's the first stray kids album to spend more than one week in the top 3 of the billboard 200. staying power, unlocked.

the second week was their best US frame yet too — around 82,000 equivalent album units for the week ending august 20, a new career high stateside. STAY did not come to play.

another chart record quietly in the bag and honestly the audacity is inspiring. leave some milestones for everyone else, maybe? (don't.)

Stray Kids' 'THIS & THAT' Sells 3 Million Copies in First Week

'this & that' is only the SECOND record of all 2026 to hit 3 mil first-week — these men do not miss and i am exhausted (affectionate)

no bc how are stray kids just casually shifting THREE MILLION albums in a single week like it's nothing. 'this & that' hasn't even been out two weeks and stays are already rewriting the record books. i need a lie down.

per hanteo, the mini blew past 3 million copies in its first week — making it only the SECOND album of ALL of 2026 to pull that off. the other one? bts's 'arirang.' so the entire 3-mil-first-week club this year is stray kids and bts. no notes. just staring.

and it's not even new for them?? this is the FOURTH skz album to bulldoze the 3 million mark in week one, joining '5-STAR,' 'ROCK-STAR' and 'KARMA.' the way they simply keep doing this. serving consistency like it's a subscription service.

'this & that' only dropped august 7, which makes the numbers even more unhinged — barely five days on shelves and already in the history books. mother is mothering, the boys are boying, we are so back.

anyway stays go touch grass (i can't either).
