enhypen sat on a twilight panel at comic-con and the vampire agenda is officially unstoppable
no bc the vampire-coded boys pulling up to san diego comic-con to talk bloodsucker lore with the actual twilight director is the crossover none of us knew we needed. to be clear: no casting, just vibes — but the vibes are immaculate.
listen. the vampire-concept boy group of our generation walking into san diego comic-con to sit on a panel about vampire storytelling is the kind of full-circle content i get out of bed for. enhypen said we ARE the lore now.
on july 23 the boys pulled up to comic-con and joined a panel on all things bloodsucker alongside twilight director catherine hardwicke and franchise stars peter facinelli and ashley greene. a k-pop group and the cullens' architects in one room. the fandoms colliding. i felt that in my molars.
now — before anyone spirals — this was NOT a casting announcement. nobody's joining the twilight universe (yet, manifesting). it was a panel, a conversation, a meeting of the immortals. but the audacity of showing up to vampire con as the actual vampire boys? unmatched.
not enhypen debuting on a whole vampire concept years ago and then getting invited to nerd out about the genre with the people who built the most unhinged sparkly-vampire franchise on earth. the timeline is healing. the bit is bitting.
anyway put them in something, i don't care what, the girlies have decided. a crossover that makes zero business sense and full spiritual sense — good day.

the girls opened the 'show what i am' na leg in toronto and montreal — their first-ever solo shows in canada — and dives sang every korean lyric right back. wonyoung soloing to '8' has me UNWELL.
the girlies said o canada and MEANT it. ive just kicked off the north american leg of their 'show what i am' world tour with their first-ever solo concerts in canada, and the footage has me spiraling.
they hit toronto on july 21 and montreal on july 23 — the group's first time headlining their own shows in canada since debut — and per starship the whole thing got upgraded: new styling, beefed-up staging, the works. mother tour is mothering.
setlist-wise they did not miss: opened with 'gotcha' and 'xoxz,' ran through 'love dive,' 'attitude,' 'i am' and 'rebel heart,' and during 'bang bang' the crowd sang the korean lyrics back word for word. the growth. the globalization. i'm emotional.
the solo stages were the main event, obviously — wonyoung took on '8' while rei, liz, gaeul, leeseo and yujin each got their moment to serve. six soloists in a trench coat, respectfully.
ive said through starship they were "able to begin our North American tour on a great note" thanks to dives, and same. next up: newark, austin, los angeles, oakland, seattle and vancouver. if she's coming to your city, lock in — this is not a drill.
